I am spending the last days of quarantine stocking up my freezer with anything I can to make my life easier when everything gets going full-tilt-boogie again.
Right now, I am stocking up my freezer with homemade Uncrustables. They retail at my local Kroger for around $3.19 for a pack of 4. But I can make them myself for so much cheaper. And you will laugh when you see my high tech tool.
The key is to place the jelly in the middle and not spread it our to far, put the pieces together and
smash down on the sandwich a large mouth canning jar rim, that seals it and you can remove the crusts with your hands. I then wrap them individually in wax paper and store them in a Ziploc bag in the freezer.
It's great to throw in the cooler for summer ball tournaments!
